In this first edition of The Daily Sales book review we are going to divulge into one of the best sales books available right now, The No.1 Best Seller by Lee Bartlett. After a hugely successful sales career Lee has written an amazing account of what it takes to be the best, the challenges that can entail and provides a truly unique insight into the mind of top salesman. 

From selling to the highest level, travelling the world and earning commission most can only dream of, Lee provides a first hand account of his life in sales. I’m not going to give anything away as I would highly recommend buying it and reading it, but here are a few highlights!

This wasn’t written 10+ years ago when selling was different, this is a modern story that can be related to by anyone working in sales today. Here is someone who has faced economic turmoil in his industry, faced the advances of technology and faced the challenges of highly educated buyers.

Lee explains how to find the perfect sales job for you, negotiate the best terms and execute a strategy that will guide you to success. The best part of this book is what Lee calls “The Basics”, a guide to the core of selling, the principles that ALL sales people should know and follow. 

This book doesn’t tip toe around anything but packs a brutal and powerful punch identifying all the barriers that can hinder sales success and effective methods to overcome them. Sales isn’t an easy profession and it isn’t for everyone, but for those who want to be the best this is the book to read. 

There are hundreds of sales books out there, some great and some not so great. What makes this book stand out is the fact it’s not written to tell you how to sell but to SHOW you.
